Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has reacted angrily to a suggestion from US President Biden that he ought to abandon controversial plans for an overhaul of the judiciary.
Mr Netanyahu burdened that Israel would make its selections “by the desire of its individuals and never primarily based on pressures from overseas”.
President Biden mentioned he hoped Mr Netanyahu would attempt to work out a real compromise.
