China stated its navy is holding large-scale drills involving navy, air, floor, and rocket forces round Taiwan on Tuesday in a “extreme warning” to the island, a transfer that may even check the response of U.S. President Donald Trump.
Shi Yi, a spokesperson for the Folks’s Liberation Military’s Jap Theater Command stated the drills are a “extreme warning and forceful containment towards Taiwan independence.”
Taiwan’s Ministry of Nationwide Defence stated it had tracked 19 Chinese language navy vessels within the waters surrounding the island in a 24-hour interval from 6 a.m. Monday till 6 a.m. Tuesday.
